With the sofa properly outfitted, the rest of the house was sprinkled with Fall touches. Don't pumpkins signify Fall? These ceramic pumpkins from Hobby Lobby had purple stems and leaves, so I spray painted them gold.
Before putting them on the wooden console table, I tried them out on the gold glass table.
A gold bowl filled with pinecones, apples, and pears sits on the second shelf.
I waited for weeks to find these lanterns half off at Hobby Lobby- I just kept missing the week they were on sale. Finally, I picked up three- two shiny silver ones, and one giant aluminum one.
In the butler's pantry, I added my Hobby Lobby Harvest sign that I've had for years.
Are you in the Fall decorating mode yet?

ReplyDeleteI love the lanterns!!! Your house looks ready to welcome Fall. :)
ReplyDeleteLove the changes. I looked at the plaid covers too, but we are sporting more greens around here these days (and I didn't like the orange version). I have the same harvest sign...need to pull it out today!
ReplyDeleteAll of these decorations are gorgeous! I love your lanterns! I just started getting in the mood for fall. Today is the first cool crisp day, so I'm itching to buy some mums. I also decorated our dining room table.

ReplyDeleteHi Lauren! That bowl is from Anthropologie.
DeleteI love the color scheme! Love the idea of spray painting the stems gold. I need to get on it with the fall decorating since it is finally in the 80's in Texas! Yay! (Isn't the 80's considered fall?!?!)
ReplyDeleteI know- we are celebrating the 80s as a "cool front"!

Loving the plaid and the pumpkins! Such elegant fall touches! :)
ReplyDeleteLooks beautiful! Why would they make the stems purple?
ReplyDeleteI am loving those lanterns! What great finds. Isn't Fall the best? Now, if only the Houston weather could get the memo that it's time to turn down the heat. Hope you guys are well! :)
ReplyDeleteWhat color are your walls behind the white pumpkins? I am trying to pick colors for our house!
ReplyDeleteJust added some fall touches yesterday. The funny thing is I never would have considered Sept 17th "late" for fall decorating but being involved in the blog world this year makes me feel so far behind! I don't think I'll ever be able to do fall decorating in August though :) Really like your simple touches, that's the route I took too, nothing too intense!
ReplyDeleteI haven't done any fall decorating because it still feels so summery outside! Soon though!
ReplyDeleteLove the pumpkin idea. Did you paint the pumpkins cream or did they come that color? Was at Hobby Lobby today and couldn't find the exact ones, but found ones that I could spray paint it needed. Thanks for all your great ideas!!
ReplyDeleteoooh, it all looks so cozy and great! love your pumpkins, lanterns and cozy pillows! and great find on your new bag, too!
ReplyDeleteCan you please take a picture of your console? En also what is the size? Thanks
ReplyDeleteLove your little simple updates!
ReplyDeleteLove your fall touches! And those lanterns are dreamy!

I LOVE those pumpkins! They say Fall without being too bright. I recently found an orange wicker pumpkin at the thrift store, and my husband thinks I'm crazy for wanting to paint it a more neutral color.
ReplyDeleteThe white pumpkins are stunning! I love the Fall additions that aren't blantantly orange. I think it's more sophistacated. Visiting from Thrifty Decor Chick's link party!
