I'm impressed with the quality, but am thinking of spray painting the black legs gold or silver.
The fabric is an oatmeal colored linen that has a nice texture and I love the tufting.
I still want to change out our bedside tables for (I think) mirrored pieces, but haven't taken the plunge yet.
You might remember our bed is also from Overstock and the bedding is from Restoration Hardware (except for the Target throw). I made the grey/blue zebra pillow cover. I still need to add some pillows to active the fuller, more layered look.
I'd recommend this table for a coffee table too if you're in the market for one. It's cushy at the top, yet still has the open feel underneath.

Love it when people think outside the box! Great solution and it's really pretty.
ReplyDeleteLooks really pretty Megan. I like the tufting and the fabric color and texture looks great.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great find! That fabric is perfect and that piece is so versatile. It can go anywhere!
ReplyDeleteIt's beautiful -- and looks great in there! Your room is really coming together! and yay for bedside snacks...you never know when you'll have a hankering for an apple ;)
ReplyDeleteTurned out really nice :)
ReplyDeleteI love the base... I think your idea to paint it gold or silver would be fabulous!
ReplyDeleteIt looks great and can't wait to see if you end up spray painting it. I'm totally loving mirrored bedside tables, too.
ReplyDeleteI think it's a great piece. I love the tufting.
ReplyDeleteWho says you can't use a coffee table at the end of your bed? I've always wanted to be one of those people who had time to formally sit down and put on their shoes in the mornings instead of jumping into the halfway out the door. Maybe something like this would make that more likely to happen?
ReplyDeleteLove it! I think it looks perfect in your space, but I think spray painting the legs gold or silver would look great, too!
ReplyDeleteHonestly, I don't think it's a good fit there. Seems a bit awkward and too wide but not long enough.
ReplyDeletethat's a great find! i think spray painting it will elevate it more but even then, this actually works for me :)
ReplyDeleteLooks good! If you do want to change the finish on the legs, I recommend using Rub N Buff in antique gold. You can google it for more info :). It is a wonderful product. I bought mine on Amazon, but I think themselves sell it at Hobby Lobby as well.
ReplyDeleteLooks fabulous! Although I am partial to a bit of gold or silver spray paint. It is BEAUTIFUL either way though :)
ReplyDeleteIt is nice but looks funny there, too wide. jessica
ReplyDeleteLove the room- especially the leopard print pillow!
ReplyDeleteIt looks so good there! I love great Overstock finds.
ReplyDeleteIt looks really nice Megan. Perfect for the foot of your bed! I love the tufting. Your bedroom is beautiful...so calm and peaceful.
ReplyDeleteLove that bench at the end of your bed! I am currently transforming two garage sale side tables into end of bed stools for my master.
