Can I say it feels so good to have finally signed, addressed, and stamped our Christmas cards?!   Why did that feel like a major feat this year?? :)

And while I could barely get our cards in the mail, Ali Rockwell was a creating her own cards by hand!  I love how they turned out.

She used embroidery thread to stitch snowflakes onto the trees, and hooks onto the ornaments.  How creative is that?!

  1. Christmas cards just got ordered here last night, so you are ahead of me! Fortunately, when they come in it'll be...put in envelopes, seal, afix address label, mailing label and stamp and out they go. Maybe they will get there in time. Need to finish up shopping, but am dreading the crowds...sticking to stores outside of the mall!!

Congrats on your cards getting mailed out. That's is a serious feat. The way I'm going mine are going to have to say "Happy New Year"

  6. Eeeeeeek! Thank you so much! I'm on the Cutting Edge site at least once a week, drooling over the lovely stencils. I actually eeeked out loud when I read my name and now my three year old keeps asking what's wrong. (=

And yeah, those cards are really special!

  8. I'm in the same boat with my cards, and I always wish I had made handmade ones after the fact. Maybe I will make my Christmas cards one random day in June or something- seems like only that can save me from procrastination!
