Since I have a love affair with paper and fonts, making personalized gift tags to go with each present is a fun thing for me to do while wrapping the Christmas gifts this year. It’s been time consuming, so I just put in some SATC DVDs to keep me company!
I previously downloaded each font online, I think from dafont.com, then created a Word document with each recipient’s name. (You can easily Google “free fonts” and find many online sites that offer free downloads. Some of my favorite fonts are actually images like snowflakes in font LP Snowflakes. On dafont’s website, you can also search specifically for Christmas fonts).
After printing the Word document (I used black ink since I was out of colored), I cut each name and placed it onto a gift tag I created with card stock or craft paper. I kind of fell in love with this red and white baker’s twine and had fun incorporating it into the gift wrap. The striped, brown gift wrap paper was found at Target. A hole punch and circle sticker made an opening to affix the tags.
I think you’re getting the idea. I’m the lone wrapper in my house, so there are a few more to do.
How’s it coming on your end? Hopefully, things are winding down and you are savoring the days leading up to Christmas. I’m looking forward to doing some baking in the next few days!

They all look super cute! Love em.

Those tags are awesome! Ours got the good ole peel n stick this year!! LOL Spent the day dropping off coach's gear to the printer and then running errands and cleaning the house. Hosting Bunco Holiday Party tomorrow night.
ReplyDeleteThose tags looks beautiful and that red and white twine is fabulous! I would feel bad opening such a pretty package, but would certainly display the tag! I didn't see my present! :)

So pretty! I like the Outlaw font a lot. This goes well with I posted on today--my gift wrap. ;) I got lazy and did sticker tags...I put them under the presents so they don't mess up the look. How Type A is that?!
ReplyDeleteThey look great!
ReplyDeleteI haven't even thought about tags... it's December 21st. This could be problematic. Though I have the 23rd off and I'm hoping to bake cookies and get all into holiday mode!
Those are so great! I'm off to start wrapping right now!
ReplyDeleteI love the way your presents look, definitely my style of wrapping. Good work. :)
